And so we came up with this innovative trolley system. The trolley is wheeled to the broken conveyor belt, the suitcases are loaded on and then taken away to a storage area.
After coming up with the idea we designed the trolley, had them manufactured in South Africa and installed in Heathrow T5. That was 625 trolleys, each weighing a quarter of a ton! Now the other terminals at Heathrow are considering installing the same system.
